WooCommerce booking plugin for hourly and daily appointments
Let customers pick a date and the hours on your product page, pay with any WooCommerce payment method and get a confirmed booking, with no double bookings.
- Hourly and daily booking
- Block checkout and HPOS ready
- The order confirms the booking
How a WooCommerce booking works, step by step
From the product page to a confirmed booking, with the payment methods your shop already has.
-
Choose date and hours
The customer picks free hours on the product page, adds equipment and sees the total at once.
-
Add to cart
The booking goes into the cart with its dates, hours and add-ons. The time is checked again in the cart and at the checkout.
-
Pay with your WooCommerce methods
Cards, PayPal, bank transfer, cash on delivery: whatever your shop already offers.
-
The order is paid
A paid order confirms the booking. An unpaid one keeps the time on hold until it is paid or cancelled.
-
The booking is confirmed
The booking appears in your bookings table and the calendar, ready to manage.
Booking that works inside WooCommerce
-
Hourly and daily booking
Sell by the hour, by the day or in split slots. Prices are set per slot and add up on the product page.
-
No double bookings
Free time is checked live, then again in the cart and at the checkout, so a taken slot cannot be paid for.
-
Any WooCommerce payment method
Use the payment methods your shop already has. Unpaid orders keep the time on hold, cancelled ones release it.
-
Add-ons and coupons
Offer equipment and extras with their own price, and let WooCommerce coupons work with bookings.
-
Cart and Checkout blocks, HPOS
Works with the block-based cart and checkout, the mini cart and high-performance order storage.
-
Fits your theme
Copy the picker template into your theme and restyle it, or set the accent colour with a CSS variable.
A bookable product, not a product with a phone call
| A plain WooCommerce product | A Baza booking product |
|---|---|
| A plain product has no date: the customer buys, then you call to agree on a time | The customer picks the date and hours before paying |
| Two customers can pay for the same hour | Free time is checked live, in the cart and at the checkout |
| An hourly price needs a variation for every length | The price is worked out from the chosen hours and the slot prices |
| Extras are separate products the customer may forget | Add-ons are offered on the booking itself, with a quantity |
| Cancelling an order leaves the time blocked | A cancelled or refunded order releases the time |

Set up booking in WooCommerce in five steps

-
Create a service
Set its working hours, slot length and prices, and add extras if you sell them.
-
Add a product of the type "Baza booking"
Choose the service it sells. Nothing else to set: the price and the free hours come from the service.
-
Choose the payment method
In the plugin's payment settings choose WooCommerce, so the payment methods of your shop are used.
-
Publish and test
Open the product page, pick a time and place a test order.
Moving from WooCommerce Bookings
Import your bookable products and existing bookings in one go, and keep both systems side by side until the shop has moved.
- Bookable products become services, and resources become sub-services
- Existing bookings come with their days, client, price and order
- Safe to run again: only new items are added, and nothing in the old system is changed or removed
Availability rules and person types are not carried over: set the hours in the service.
Questions about WooCommerce booking
How do I add booking to my WooCommerce store?
Install Baza Booking Calendar next to WooCommerce, create a service and add a WooCommerce product of the type "Baza booking" that sells it. Customers then pick the date and hours on the product page and pay at the normal WooCommerce checkout.
Can customers book by the hour in WooCommerce?
Yes. A service can be booked by the hour, in split slots or for a whole day, and the customer picks free hours on the product page. The total is worked out from the slot prices and shown at once.
Does it work with the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks and HPOS?
Yes. It works with the block-based Cart and Checkout, the mini cart and the classic cart and checkout, and it declares compatibility with high-performance order storage (HPOS).
Which payment methods can customers use?
Any payment method of your WooCommerce shop: cards, PayPal, bank transfer, cash on delivery and the rest. Booking payments are taken by WooCommerce, not by a second checkout.
What happens if a customer does not pay the order?
For methods that are paid later, such as bank transfer, the booking stays pending and keeps its time on hold. If the order is cancelled or fails, the booking is rejected and the time is free again.
Can I sell equipment or extras together with a booking?
Yes. Add-on services have their own price and quantity, and the customer adds them on the same product page, so a lighting kit or a projector is never forgotten.
Can I use WooCommerce coupons with bookings?
Yes. A WooCommerce coupon applies to the booking, and the discount is recorded in the booking.
Can a customer change the price in the browser?
No. The price is always worked out on the server from the chosen slots and add-ons. The browser only sends which slots and extras were picked, and the cart checks them again.
Does it prevent double bookings in WooCommerce?
Yes. Free time is checked live on the product page, again in the cart and again at the checkout. If somebody has taken the time meanwhile, the customer sees a clear message instead of paying for it.
Can I move from WooCommerce Bookings without losing data?
Yes. The importer turns bookable products into services and brings existing bookings with their days, client, price and order. Nothing in WooCommerce Bookings is changed or removed, and running the import again adds only what is new.
What happens when an order is refunded or cancelled?
The booking follows the order. A cancelled or failed order rejects an unpaid booking, a refund rejects a booked one, and the time becomes free again. A booking rejected in the plugin also cancels an unpaid order.
Do I need WooCommerce to use Baza Booking Calendar?
No. WooCommerce is one way to take payments. The plugin also works on its own, with its own payment gateways, a client account and a booking form.
Can I change how the booking picker looks in my theme?
Yes. Copy the picker template into your theme and change it, or restyle it with the accent colour variable. The cart summary template can be copied the same way.
Is it available in other languages?
Yes. The plugin is translated into English, Ukrainian, Russian, German, Polish, Portuguese and Slovak.
