Discount Settings
Baza Booking Calendar can apply several kinds of discounts at once: volume, coupon, loyalty, and personal. Discount Settings is where you control how they interact when more than one applies to the same booking, so the final price is predictable instead of guesswork.
Advance booking discount
Set Hours before discount and a Discount % to reward customers who book ahead of time, for example 10% off if they book at least 48 hours before the slot. Leave it empty to skip this discount entirely.
The Apply the discount to all selected slots toggle controls whether this discount applies across a whole multi-slot booking or is evaluated separately.
Discount type
Choose whether the discount is calculated once for the whole booking (All time) or separately for each hour or slot (Per hour or per slot).
When several discounts apply
If a booking qualifies for more than one discount at the same time, this setting decides what happens:
- Apply all discounts, each discount is applied one after another on what’s left, so two 10% discounts together take 19% off, not 20%
- Apply only the largest, only the single biggest discount is used
- Apply only the first that matches, the first qualifying discount wins, the rest are ignored
Without this setting, stacking multiple discounts could produce a price nobody planned for. Choose the mode that matches how you actually want to reward customers.
Discounts applied to
Decide whether discounts apply to the Whole total (booking plus additional services) or Without extra services (only the base booking price, additional services stay full price).
Discounts in use
A set of toggles controls which discount types are active at all, independent of the rules above:
- Volume discount, based on booking size
- Coupon, promo codes entered at checkout
- Loyalty discount, tied to the customer’s loyalty tier
- Personal discount, the individual discount set on a specific customer
Turn off any type you don’t use, for example if you never run coupon campaigns, disabling it here keeps the checkout summary clean and avoids confusion.
Where discounts show up
Every applied discount appears as its own line in the price breakdown, both on the frontend booking form and in the customer’s account dashboard, for example “Loyalty discount (15%), -30.15€”. Manual bookings created by an admin in the dashboard use these same settings automatically, including a customer’s personal discount, no manual recalculation needed.
