Daily Calendar

The daily calendar view shows a month grid first, then opens the hours of a single day once a customer clicks it. It fits businesses where an entire day, not just an hour, is the unit customers actually book, studios rented out for full-day shoots, venues booked for events, equipment rented by the day.

How it works

The month grid shows every day at a glance. Fully booked days show a lock icon with a count (for example 23/23), open days show how many spots remain (for example “13 free”). Clicking an open day expands it into an hourly view, the same slot-by-slot layout used elsewhere in Baza Booking Calendar, with each hour’s own price if you’ve set one.

Slots already in the past are shown with an icon rather than a price, since they can’t be booked. The hourly view also shows a legend: Booked, Pending, and Day off, so the state of any slot is clear without opening it.

Two ways to let customers pick

Under Settings, Components, Calendar view, choose between:

  • Time slots, the standard calendar, customers pick individual hours directly
  • Month grid, whole-day booking, the daily calendar described here

A separate Day selection setting controls what happens once a day is opened:

  • Client picks slots, the customer still selects specific hours within that day
  • Whole day is booked, selecting the day books it in full, no hour-by-hour picking

Shortcodes

Use these shortcodes to place the daily calendar directly on a page, independent of the global settings above:

[baza_booking_calendar view="month"]

Shows the month grid on this page only, customers pick individual slots after opening a day.

[baza_booking_calendar view="month" whole_day="yes"]

Same month grid, but the whole day is booked as a single unit.

Pricing

The daily calendar uses the same pricing engine as the rest of Baza Booking Calendar, including per-hour pricing, the second price tier, and day-of-week rates, so a full-day booking still reflects any hourly pricing structure you’ve configured for the service.
