Find and replace in content, custom fields and options

Find and replace (Baza Helper > Find and replace) looks for an exact text in your content and shows every place it is found, with the words around it. Nothing changes until you press Replace, and any place can be left out first.

Run a replacement

1. Type the text in Find and the new text in Replace with. Tick Match the case if needed.
2. Choose where to look: Posts and pages (text, titles, excerpts), Custom fields (Elementor, Carbon Fields, ACF) and Settings of the site and plugins (options).
3. Press Look for it. The tab lists the number of places and items, with context. If there are too many, only the first results are shown, so narrow the search.
4. Tick the places to change, or Select all or Select none.
5. Press Replace selected and confirm.

Safety

• Serialized values and JSON (Elementor) are rewritten safely, so lengths are recounted and data does not break.
• Undo the last replacement puts back what the last run changed, and posts keep a revision.
• Make a backup before a large replacement.
