Media Library: See Where Each Image Is Used

The Used in column in the media library shows where each file is placed on the site. Before you delete or replace a picture, you see every place it affects.

Where to find it

Open the Media Library in WordPress. The Used in column is added by Baza Helper for every file.

What the column shows

• Featured image of a post, page or product
• Product gallery
• Content of a post or page
• Site logo and Site icon
• Term image of a category
• Widget and Theme settings (Customizer)
• Setting of the plugin

The column shows the number of places, for example Used in 3 places. A file with no place says Not used anywhere.

Replace or delete safely

Check the column before you delete a file. If a picture is used in several places, replace it there too, or use the Replace image tool so the file keeps its place everywhere.
