On-page SEO panel: keyword checks, readability and social cards
Every public post type with an editor gets a Baza Helper SEO panel under the content. It is always on and sits beside whatever your theme or another SEO plugin does: when another system owns SEO output, Baza Helper does not print competing metadata.
The tabs
- Search: SEO title, description and URL slug with a flat search result preview, plus the focus keyword.
- Social: title, description and image for sharing, with live Facebook and Twitter card previews. The image comes from the attachment you choose or the featured image.
- Indexing: robots options in plain-language switches, and the canonical URL (blank uses the WordPress canonical).
- Schema: structured data nodes for the page.
- Audit: the SEO analysis and the readability analysis.
Titles and descriptions
The counters under the title and description turn amber when the text is too short, green when it fits and red past 60 characters for the title and 160 for the description. The result preview falls back to the post title when the SEO title is empty. The URL slug is synced with the block editor and needs pretty permalinks.
Focus keyword checks
Add a Focus keyword and the panel shows how many checks pass. Words are matched by their stem, so inflected forms count. The checks are:
- the keyword is in the SEO title, and the title starts with it,
- in the meta description, the URL, the opening paragraph and at least one subheading (H2 to H4),
- in the alt text of an image,
- the keyword is short enough (four words or fewer work best),
- the keyword density is natural (0.5 to 2.5 percent), with a warning for stuffing,
- the text has at least 300 words,
- the page links to another page of the site and to another website,
- the page has an image,
- the SEO title is 30 to 60 characters and the description 70 to 160.
For pages made with a builder that has no editor text, the panel reads the saved page’s HTML. Use Read the page again after you change it.
Readability
Readability needs at least 50 words. It checks sentence length (it warns when many sentences are over 20 words), paragraph length (over 150 words), subheading spacing, varied sentence starts and, for English, the Flesch reading ease score. An Insights line shows the word count and reading time.
Not included
Cornerstone content, a breadcrumb title, related keyphrases, a duplicate-keyword check and a mobile and desktop result switch are not available.
