Elementor tools: first screen, slideshows and add-ons
The Elementor tab appears while Elementor is active. Baza Helper never edits Elementor’s files or data. Each switch is a thing it does while the page is sent, with its current state shown.
First screen
Elementor hides every element with an entrance animation until its scripts have run, so the main heading can appear seconds late. Show the first block of a page at once makes the elements of the first block visible from the first paint and skips their entrance animation. Later blocks keep their animations.
Slideshow backgrounds
For sections with a Slideshow background. They work together with the converted AVIF and WebP copies from the Images tab.
- Preload the first slide: the picture the visitor waits for is requested while the head is read, with high priority.
- Fetch the later slides after the first one: Elementor creates every slide at once; without this the browser downloads them next to the first one.
- Show the first slide without the fade-in: the transition time otherwise delays the largest paint. Later slides still fade.
- Turn off the automatic slider on phones: on screens up to 767 px wide the background shows only its first picture. The other pictures are never downloaded. Desktop and tablet stay as they are, and visitors who ask for less motion never see a transition.
Add-ons
For Royal Elementor Addons, Alt text for Feature List images reads the alt text of each picture from the media library and writes it into that picture only. Alt text that is already there is never replaced. It works without changing any file of the add-on.
Related tabs
- Google Fonts: Elementor asks for every weight and italic of each font by default. Cutting those links down works for every theme, so it has its own tab.
- Scripts and styles: add-ons often load their files on every page. Leaving files out works for every theme and plugin, so it has its own tab.
- In Cache & Optimization, Defer Elementor and add-on scripts moves their scripts out of the critical request chain.
