Scripts and styles: leave out files a page does not need

Themes, plugins and builders often load their files on every page. The Scripts and styles tab (Baza Helper > Scripts and styles) helps you leave out what a page does not need, with any theme or builder.

Find candidates

1. Press Scan the home page. The tab lists the scripts and styles it printed.
2. Tick what the page does not need.
3. Choose Apply to: the home page only, the whole site, or a page or section (type an Address starting with, for example /blog/).
4. Save, then open the page and test it.

Always check the page afterwards: a script that looks unused may run a popup, a form or a menu.

Rules by hand

The Rules box takes one WordPress handle per line. Add @front for the home page only, or @/blog/ for addresses starting with that path. jQuery is never removed.

Where the rules apply

• Nothing is changed in the admin, in previews or in the Elementor editor.
• On the site itself the rules apply to everyone, including you when you are logged in, so you can check the result.

Elementor

When Elementor is active, an extra Elementor tab appears with its own options. It is not a switchable tool, it shows only while Elementor is active.
