Content Review: Step-by-Step Guide
Content Review checks your content and lets you decide what changes. Nothing changes on your site until you approve it. Each change arrives as a proposal, and you apply, reject or roll back the proposal in one place: Baza Helper > Content Review.
What you need before you start
- Baza Helper 1.1.0 or newer, active on the site.
- Administrator access, or a role that can edit posts and manage Baza Helper.
- A few minutes to review the first proposals, since the first changes can touch many posts.
Step by step
Step 1: Open the Content Review screen
In the WordPress admin menu, open Baza Helper and choose the Content Review tab. The screen opens with the proposals waiting for a decision.
Step 2: Scan the content
Press the scan button to check posts, pages and products. The progress line shows how many items are checked, for example “Checked 120 of 1,300”. When the scan ends, each problem is listed with its post and a priority.
Step 3: Read the problems and their priority
Problems are marked High, Medium or Low. High means something a visitor sees directly, such as a broken block or a missing translation. Filter the list by the problem type to see one kind at a time.
Step 4: Open a proposal and check what changes
Choose a proposal from the list and read its details: the post, the field that changes (title, text, excerpt, SEO description or featured image) and the source. Use Edit to see the post before you decide.
Step 5: Apply or reject the proposal
Press Apply to accept the change. Press Reject to drop it. A rejected proposal is not offered again. To handle many proposals at once, use Apply all or Reject all, but check a few first.
Step 6: Check the result on the site
Open the post after you apply a change and check the text, the excerpt and the SEO description. The applied proposal moves to the Applied list, with the date and who decided.
Step 7: Roll back a change if needed
For an applied change, press Roll back to put the previous values back. If you edited the post after the change, the plugin asks you to confirm before it overwrites your edits. Only an applied change can be rolled back.
Step 8: Finish the translations
For problems about missing translations, use Queue translations to translate a post into the other languages of the site, or Link translations to connect a translation that already exists. Translations are checked again on the next scan.
Common questions
- Why is a proposal not available? The post was edited after the proposal was made. Scan again to get a current proposal.
- Why does a change look wrong? Reject it and check the source of the proposal. Nothing is applied without your decision.
- Can I undo everything? Each applied change can be rolled back on its own, as long as the post has not changed since.
Keep an eye on the High problems first. Most sites need one or two scans and a short review before the list stays short.
