Add the Calendar with the Block or the Elementor Widget

You can put the booking calendar on a page in three ways: the [baza_booking_calendar] shortcode, a Gutenberg block, or an Elementor widget. All three print exactly the same calendar, so pick whichever fits the way you build your pages.

The Gutenberg Block

In the block editor, add a new block and look for Booking calendar in the Baza Booking Calendar category. The block shows a small placeholder in the editor. The real calendar appears on the page itself, for your visitors.

Select the block and open the sidebar. There are four choices:

  • Service: all services, as set in the plugin, or one service you pick from the list.
  • Design: one of your enabled calendar themes, or the one chosen in the plugin settings.
  • View: the hours of a day, or a month with whole days.
  • Picking a day: a picked day books whole, or it shows its hours.

Leave a choice empty and the calendar follows what you set in the plugin settings.

The Elementor Widget

If Elementor is active, search for Booking calendar in the widget panel, in the Baza Booking Calendar category. Drag it onto the page. The Calendar section holds the same four choices: Service, Design, View and Picking a day. Inside the Elementor editor you see a placeholder, and the calendar shows on the live page.

The Same Choices in the Shortcode

Prefer the shortcode? Every choice is an attribute: service (the service ID), theme (the theme key), view (slots for hours of a day, month for whole days) and whole_day (yes or no). An attribute you leave out follows the plugin settings.

[baza_booking_calendar service="12" view="month" whole_day="yes"]

The block and the widget are available from version 3.2.1.
