Payment Window and Payment Pages
The payment window is the time a client has to pay for a booking. You also choose the pages the client is sent to after a payment succeeds or is canceled.
Where to find it
Open Settings, then Payments, then the Payment tab.
Set the payment window
Enter the time in Payment window (minutes). The maximum is 1440 minutes (24 hours).
- While the window is open, the reserved hours stay blocked for the booking.
- When the window closes without payment, the order is canceled and the time is released for other clients.
- The window is counted from the moment the payment link was created, not from the moment the booking was made.
Allow sharing the payment link
Tick Allow copying of the payment page link to let the client either pay themselves or copy the link and send it to someone else. If you turn this on, make the payment window longer, because the person who pays may need more time.
Choose the redirect pages
Two fields decide where the client lands after paying:
- Customer redirect page after successful payment: a page with the shortcode
. - Customer redirect page after canceled payment: a page with the shortcode
.
Create both pages, add the shortcode to each one, then select them in the fields. Use two different pages.
Warnings on the Payment tab
The plugin checks the pages when you save and shows a message if something is wrong:
- The success and cancellation pages are the same page.
- A page contains the shortcode of the other outcome.
- The selected page no longer exists or is in the trash.
Fix the warning before you test a payment, otherwise a client who paid can see the cancellation message.
