Messengers: Telegram, Viber and WhatsApp
Besides e-mail, the plugin can send booking messages to Telegram, Viber and WhatsApp. Each messenger has its own block of settings and is switched on or off separately.
Where to find them
Open Settings, then Messages, then the Messengers tab.
Telegram
Turn on Status, then enter the Telegram API key of your bot and the Telegram chat ID where the messages should arrive.
Viber
Enter your Viber token. Get it in Viber by creating a Bot Account and copying the token from the account page. Then press Connect Viber and open Viber, find your bot and send it any message. The receiver ID is filled in automatically. Save the settings afterwards.
Turn on Status, then enter the WhatsApp token, the WhatsApp phone ID and the WhatsApp recipient.
Check the messages
After you save, make a test booking and check that the alert arrives in each messenger you turned on. If it does not arrive, check the token and the chat or recipient ID first.
