E-mail Delivery, Sender and Delivery Log
The Delivery section shows how the plugin sends e-mail. Here you see the sender address, you can keep a log of every letter, and you can send a test letter.
Where to find it
Open Settings, then Messages, then the Delivery section.
Sender address
Letters go out from no-reply followed by your site’s domain. The section shows the exact address.
Keep a delivery log
Turn on Keep a delivery log to record what happened to every letter the site sends. When it is off, nothing is written. The list stays as it is until you clear it.
Send a test e-mail
Enter an address in the Send a test email field and press Send. The test letter shows in the list under Last emails.
Read the result
The list shows the time, the recipient, the subject, the sender address and the result. A letter marked as handed over was accepted by the mail server. What happens after that is outside the site, for example a letter may land in a spam folder.
If mail to your own mailbox arrives but mail to clients at Gmail or Outlook does not, check the SPF and DMARC records of your domain. They must name the server that sends the letters.
