Taxes on Bookings

You can add taxes charged on a booking, for example VAT, city tax or tourist tax. Each tax is a percentage or a fixed sum.

Where to find it

Open Settings, then Payments, then the Tax tab.

Add a tax

Press Add tax and fill in the label and the amount. Enter a percentage with the % sign, for example 10%. Enter a fixed sum without it, for example 2.50.

• Included in the price or added on top, so you choose how the client sees the total
• Sent to the payment provider with the payment
• Printed on the invoice

Taxes per guest

A tax can be charged per guest. Then choose the field that holds the number of guests. Without that field, the tax is not calculated per guest.

Note on payment gateways

Some payment gateways calculate taxes themselves. When the active gateway does this, the settings on this tab are not used.
