Manager Permissions: What Managers Can Do

Managers can open the admin area of the plugin, but most features are blocked for them by default. You turn on each feature separately.

Where to find it

Open Settings, then General, then the Managers tab.

Permissions for clients

  • Block / unblock clients: stop a client from booking again, or lift that block. This is reversible.
  • Delete / erase customer accounts: delete a WordPress account and erase the personal data for GDPR requests. This cannot be undone.
  • Export clients to CSV: download the list of clients with their contact details.

Permissions for the booking form and translations

  • Form Builder: change the fields that the booking form asks for.
  • String Translations: edit the translated text of the plugin and the list of languages.

Permissions for export and import

  • Export settings/data: download a backup-style export. Nothing on the site changes.
  • Import settings/data: import a file that can overwrite the current settings and data.

Other permissions

  • Mail Log: view the log, send a test e-mail and clear the log.
  • Apply schedule to all services: copy the working hours of one service to all the others.
  • Take over an active edit lock: open a booking or a service that someone else is editing.
  • Delete services: delete services one at a time or in bulk. This cannot be undone.

Turn on only the permissions that a manager needs. Permissions that delete or import data can change what the site holds, so keep them off unless they are needed.
