SMS Notifications: Twilio, Vonage, seven.io and Turbo SMS

The plugin can send booking alerts as text messages. You connect one or more SMS providers and each one has its own switch and keys.

Where to find it

Open Settings, then Messages, then the SMS tab.

Turn a provider on

In each provider’s block tick Status to turn it on, then enter its fields and save.

Fields of each provider

• Twilio: Twilio account SID, Twilio auth token and Twilio phone number
• Vonage: Vonage API key, Vonage API secret and Vonage sender ID or number
• seven.io: seven.io API key and seven.io sender ID
• Turbo SMS: Turbo SMS token and Turbo SMS sender

Keys are stored hidden. Leave a key field empty when saving to keep the key you already entered.

What the text looks like

An SMS contains the subject of the message, the status line and the order ID. It is sent as plain text, so bold markers are not shown.

Phone numbers

Enter the client’s number with the country code, for example +48 500 000 000. A number that is too short is not sent.
